B of a waste of money!!!4.27.48am UTC (GMT +0000) Fri 6th Aug 2004 Manchester Liberal Democrats have reaffirmed their opposition to Council Tax payers money being used to pay for the "B of the Bang" sculpture. Lib Dem Leader Simon Ashley said today, "Labour promised that this sculpture would not cost Manchester's Council Tax payers a penny- it has cost Manchester Council tax payers £120,000 and £1.4m overall."
