Mark Clayton at Northenden Library

Northenden Library is under threat of closure according to recent reports in the local press. The Labour City Council has drawn up plans to save millions of pounds by cutting council services. Other proposals include slashing the budget for new books and charging people for using computers.

Northenden campaigner Mark Clayton said "The Library provides an essential service for local people. So many local people would be angry if it were to close. Northenden Liberal Democrats and I will campaign to keep to Library open."

Please help the campaign by signing the petition (please use the petitions link on the navigation menu).
