Sajjad welcomes £1million Longsight Library boost5.54.04pm UTC (GMT +0000) Tue 14th Feb 2006 Longsight Councillor Mohammed Sajjad is delighted by proposals to refurbish Longsight Library at a cost of £1million. The proposals are contained in the budget papers being submitted to the Executive Committee tomorrow. Cllr Sajjad said today: "Longsight Library is well used and well loved by the Longsight community. I am happy that the Council have recognised that it needs to refurbish the Library and improve the service given to local residents." Ends......
